What more could you ask for???

Good times with Family and friends!!! Abby had so much fun the past couple of weeks. (Seth and I had a blast too :) ) It all started a couple weeks ago when Papa came to visit! Abby got to spend time with Papa and daddy got to golf. Does it get any better than this??

Well the next weekend, both Papa AND Nana came to visit!! We all got to go to Starbucks, the olive mill in Queen Creek, and the golf superstore, plus mommy and Nana got to go shopping. Add to that all the great food we ate (I think we all gained about 10 pounds! Especially Aura!!! Papa can't resist spoiling her with her favorite treat... Vienna Fingers!!!) and it was a weekend to remember!

After Papa and Nana left, my good friend Allison came to visit from Kansas. It was so good to see her! We got to just relax and catch up, I miss all the lunches we used to shared in Kansas just talking about life and hanging out. We of course did more shopping and I couldn't let her leave without experiencing IKEA.

It has been a fun, exciting and exhausting month and it's not even over yet!!

Just another day...

Abby is at such a fun age. It seems like everyday she makes us smile more and more. She is growing up so fast!

Abby has been pulling herself up and walking while holding onto things for awhile now. Yesterday Seth was playing with her and decided to see how long she could stand on her own. The longest she had ever done it was 5 seconds. I am sure this is only cool and impressive to Seth and me, but hey nobody is making you watch the video... Oh, and please ignore the commentary, just mute your computer before playing the video :)

These next pictures are just too funny not to post.

Abby LOVES her bath tub. She loves to take a bath and when I leave her tub out to dry she loves to play with it. I was sitting at my dining room table and I could hear that she was playing with her tub again. Then, it sounded like she was dragging it across my floor so I got up to see what she was doing and this is what I found!

Who would have thought...

All my life I have been a "hometown fan." I have always believed no matter how good your team is you have to be a fan of the team in your city. I remember when the Cardinals came to town. I was pretty young and immediately became a fan. They have not made it easy to be a fan. I used to get so sick of players coming here and doing nothing, then going to a different team and being a star. So through the frustration, I remained a fan. Since they came here I have lived in California, Colorado, and Kansas. No matter where I was living, my heart always remained in Arizona, so when people would ask who my team was I would always tell them my number one team was the Cardinals, followed by the "hometown team" of where I was living. I have to confess, I really struggled in Colorado and never really gave much allegiance to the Broncos (good thing I only lived there a year). I took a lot of slack being a Cardinals fan, it wasn't easy, but I had to root for my Cards. Since moving back to Arizona every season when the Cardinals won their first game I would say "watch out, the Cardinals are going to the Super Bowl this year." So hey it only took me a few years to get it right, but THE CARDINALS ARE IN THE SUPER BOWL!! It's about time. GO CARDS!!!
