This has been an exciting month. We celebrated Abby's first Christmas, she was dedicated at church, and she rode her first pony at cousin Trevor's birthday party. Also, her bottom teeth have completely come through, she is now totally on the move, and is pulling herself up on everything. It is so fun to watch her grow and learn more and more. We hope you enjoy the pictures!

I've Been Tagged...
I was tagged by one of my blogging friends Diana (http://theskinnerbunch.blogspot.com/). I am supposed to reveal 16 things that you might not know about me. This has not been easy considering only my close family and friends read this anyway :) I struggled to come up with 16 interesting things about me, but here is the best I do...
- As I am sure everyone already knows, I am not a neat freak by any stretch of the imagination, but I vacuum daily. (a dog that sheds and a daughter that crawls just don't mix)
- I lived in the same house for the first 18 years of my life, then moved 8 times in the next 10 yrs (counting my 4 years at college as 1 move)
- For the first couple of months I knew Seth, he gave me headaches. Not just "you make my head hurt, but seriously, I took Advil EVERY TIME we were in the same room!!!
- Growing up I wanted to be a teacher. I played school all the time.
- The summer after 8th grade I went to Europe for 3 weeks with my soccer team for 2 tournaments and we won them both.
- I love the smell of skunk. I get made fun of a lot for this one, but I can't help it. Don't get me wrong, I don't want to be sprayed by one, I just love when you are driving somewhere and you can smell it...
- I want to someday visit all 50 states (I have only visited 21 so far. I am not even half way there…)
- When I was a young girl, out of the blue I told my mom I did not want to marry a guy who was in the military. I then went on to date a guy who is in the Air Force, went on a couple of dates with a guy in the Marines and ended up marrying a Marine…
- I used to know the exact numbers, but for the first year of my marriage my husband and I spent more nights together in a hotel then in our own bed (He was mobilized 6 weeks after or wedding).
- I love to cuddle. (Got lucky and married a cuddler)
- I love to play games. Any kind of games, cards, board games, whatever, if there is a game night I am so there!!
- I have had the same friend since we were in car seats. No matter where life has taken us we have always remained close.
- I hate seafood. Sorry Seth, I know this one kills you…
- I am a packrat. I come from a long line of packrats and married a packrat so no matter how hard I try to fight it, I have so much junk I can’t get rid of… (we have gotten better, a small house helps with that problem, but it is amazing where you can find to store crap you refuse to get rid of...)
- I have always wanted to be a spontaneous person. It kills my husband that I am not more spontaneous, but I am just not good at it…
AND........ - I am 9 weeks pregnant!!!!
Ok, so now I tag Megan, Shawna and Allison :)

I'm still here...
I thought I better give a quick update since I have been MIA lately. Abby has been sick since last Wednesday. This was really tough on me because there was so little I could do to comfort her, but she always wanted to be in my arms. I have been puked on, changed some pretty crazy diapers, and spent nap times rocking her in the glider because she would FREAK out if I would put her down. Well, she finally seems to be returning to the happy baby she has always been. We are still struggling with a few things though... For starters, she seems to be having trouble figuring out when and how long to take her morning nap... Not fun to have a VERY tired baby who can't figure out how to fix that problem... The other thing we seem to be having difficulty with is eating veggies! What's up with that?? She loves her applesauce and oatmeal in the morning, but try to give her some veggies at lunch or dinner and wow, she wants nothing to do with it... She used to love some of her veggies (there were always a couple she wasn't so fond of, but you could get her to eat anyway) but now, yeah, good luck with that! She won't even eat the good ones!! I hope this doesn't last much longer, the girl needs some nutrition.
Well that is the update for now. I plan to catch up on a few missing posts tomorrow!

My Baby is growing up!
I have had many people tell me that Abby was soon going to hit many milestones all at once. Well nothing could have prepared me for how quickly it would actually happen. It all started in December when her teeth finally popped through. It seems like she is doing more and more everyday!!
Well, Abby has been trying to crawl for awhile now. She was doing great at reverse and would work really hard only to move a very short distance forward. On Christmas after we were done opening gifts, eating a yummy meal, and hanging out, Seth decided to get his XBOX out to play. While he was setting it up he left his remotes laying in the middle of the floor. Abby decided she wanted to get them and took off. She crawled across the room! She has now perfected a Marine "low crawl" that any drill instructor would be proud of! She still isn't very good at the hands and knee crawl, but she is working on it. Then on December 29th she starting pulling herself up from sitting to standing, and by the 30th she was starting to walk while holding on to things. So the next day I figured we better move down her crib even though she still wasn't able to get from her tummy to her knees. I just figured we may as well move it down now so when she is ready to get up, she won't be able to get out. Well I am so glad I did! This morning I went in to get her, and this is what I saw...
Oh my goodness, what's next??!!??
